SCHMALTZ, BREWERY

Schmaltz, originally based in Coney Island, was looking to expand their craft brewing in a space that was influenced by their branding and fun filled atmosphere. The concept was to use triangular forms connecting the companies past, present, and future together. The program required a brewing area as well as tasting, merchandise and entertainment space. One specific element added was recycled boardwalk from Coney Island to the back patio and sidewalk, bringing a piece of home back into their new space in a sustainable way.
